The Dave Reynolds stable took a clean sweep of all three bonus pools at the recent Heritage Bank Nanango Burnett to the Beach finale at Lee Park.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The credit goes to Music Scene (Leeanne McCoy) and Tapestry Vision (Sophie Wilcox), the first and second place getters in the race.<\/p>\n

As the sole owner of Patche Gift, the Dalby horseman had already picked up the $3,000 for racing the leading horse of the series.<\/p>\n

The victory on Music Scene lifted his wife Leanne to the top of the jockeys\u2019 category.<\/p>\n

That achievement was worth $2,000 while the five points for supplying the exacta ensured the major prize of $5,000 in the trainers\u2019 competition also went to Reynolds.<\/p>\n

There was some extra sweetness in the victory for McCoy.<\/p>\n

She had been sidelined with an injury earlier in the year.<\/p>\n

Schindler Is On The Good List<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Apprentice Hannah English, the leading hoop going into the last Burnett To Beach offering, was compensated with the very pleasing win by Schindler ($6.50) in the Malcolm McCallum Memorial Benchmark 50 (1200m).<\/strong><\/p>\n

She had spotted that the six-year-old full brother to Klammer, a purchase that won six times for chief part-owner Peter Jackson and trainer Glenn Richardson, was on the market.<\/p>\n

Although Schindler had been off the scene since Boxing Day 2017, Jackson and Richardson opted to take on punt on the Snitzel bay that had foot problems.<\/p>\n

Richardson has done a sterling job with Morrego\u2019s son – all four engagements in Queensland have been rewarded with a cheque.<\/p>\n

Connections, banking more than $10,000, quickly recouped the small investment for the well bred thoroughbred.<\/p>\n

The other plus sign for the side is that Schindler handled the firm going at Nanango after the other three tasks were on the sand.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Klammer has been retired and Jackson is delighted that he is displaying promise as a show-jumper for his new camp.<\/p>\n

The South Burnett Race Club will be holding four race meetings in 2019 after picking up an extra race forfeited by the Gayndah Jockey Club – the bonus meeting will be held on Saturday, January 19<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The challenge is to get the word out: the South Burnett Race Club has come to the party to fill the country breach left by the Gayndah Jockey Club on Saturday, January 19.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The North Burnett organisation has opted to forego the fixture that was allocated to replace the washout of their 150th Anniversary program in October.<\/p>\n

The move ensures that prize money is not lost to industry participants.<\/p>\n
