Kingaroy’s Westpac Bank in Alford Street closed early on Friday after an incident involving the branch.<\/p>\n

southburnett.com.au<\/strong> understands threats had been made targeting the branch.<\/p>\n

“We can confirm the Kingaroy branch is closed for the remainder of the day as a safety precaution,” a Westpac spokesperson in Sydney said.<\/p>\n

“No customers or staff have been harmed and we are working with police as they investigate the matter.”<\/p>\n
