The winning poster for 2018 NAIDOC Week<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

December 4, 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists have been invited to submit artworks for the 2019 National NAIDOC Poster Competition.<\/p>\n

The winning artists will earn a $10,000 cash prize and their artwork be used as the 2019 National NAIDOC poster.<\/p>\n

This competition is a chance for talented artists aged 13 years and older to be recognised across Australia in celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and achievements.<\/p>\n

The artwork must reflect next year\u2019s National NAIDOC theme: “Voice. Truth. Treaty. Let’s work together\u00a0for a shared future.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 2019 theme invites all Australians to walk with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in a movement of the nation for a better future.<\/p>\n

It acknowledges that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have always wanted an enhanced role in decision-making in Australia\u2019s democracy.<\/p>\n

Entries close on Monday February 4, 2019.<\/p>\n
