Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington was the guest speaker at the Murgon\u00a0RSL Sub-Branch community lunch held at Murgon RSL last Thursday.<\/p>\n

The quarterly luncheons are always a popular event, with 120 people attending the end-of- year\u00a0Christmas lunch.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Murgon RSL Sub-Branch is a very dedicated group providing support and welfare services\u00a0for ex-servicemen and women in Murgon and its surrounding districts,\u201d Mrs Frecklington said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d like to thank president Trevor Williamson and the RSL Sub-Branch members for inviting me to\u00a0be a part of the event. The Murgon RSL Sub-Branch are quiet achievers, who do an amazing job all\u00a0year round for the Murgon community and their efforts deserve to be recognised.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was lovely to meet so many people, hear their stories and enjoy good company at the Murgon\u00a0RSL.<\/p>\n
