Christmas is just a month away – yes, really – so it’s time to start panicking about buying Christmas gifts, right?<\/p>\n

The Burnett Inland Economic Development Organisation, better known as BIEDO, recently launched a social media “shop local” campaign to help keep our Christmas dollars in the Burnett.<\/p>\n

The #BurnettInlandChristmas campaign is being promoted by BIEDO across social media platforms.<\/p>\n

CEO Kristy Frahm said the concept was starting to take off, with people snapping photos to share.<\/p>\n

The idea is simple.<\/p>\n

Shoppers should snap a photo of a Christmas gift they buy at a South Burnett (or North Burnett) business and share it on BIEDO’s social media pages – not forgetting to say where they bought it.<\/p>\n

Businesses can also post their details if they have products or services that would make great Christmas gifts.<\/p>\n

But don’t forget to tag posts on Facebook or Instagram with #BurnettInlandChristmas to help spread the word about what’s available this year in the Burnett.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
