Kingaroy Police are inviting South Burnett residents to join them for breakfast on Friday, November 23, to help mark White Ribbon Day.<\/p>\n

White Ribbon Day aims to raise awareness of male violence against women.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s time to draw a line in the sand and start making a cultural change,” Officer-in-Charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant David Tierney said.<\/p>\n

“The silent majority of men need to stop being silent or excusing this behaviour.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“As does everyone that condones it through their silence.”<\/p>\n

The breakfast will run from 7:30am to 9:30am.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There’ll be free tea and coffee, and bacon and egg muffins will be available for $2.50. <\/p>\n

White ribbons will also be available for $1, with all proceeds going to White Ribbon Australia.<\/p>\n
