January 30, 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n

The South Burnett Equestrian Group will be holding its first competition for the year on Sunday, February 24, ie the day after the Cooyar Show.<\/p>\n

The Mini Hack Show, to be held at the Kingaroy Pony Club grounds, will begin at 8:30am. Entry will be $2 per class.<\/p>\n

“The show is designed for all levels of horse enthusiasts, and will be a great way to get in some practice for the showing year, with Pony, Galloway and Hack classes running on the day,” club spokeswoman Caitlin Isaac said.<\/p>\n

“There will also be a Junior and Senior fancy dress competitions for anyone wanting to get creative.<\/p>\n

“Classes will be suitable for all ages of exhibitors (from assisted lead-line to open horses and riders), along with ribbons and prizes for all competitors.<\/p>\n

“The show is designed to be a fun, casual day so stock saddles are suitable and there\u2019s no need to plait manes and tails. All riders and spectators are very welcome!”<\/p>\n
