November 9, 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

A 34-year-old Wondai man was transported to hospital with suspected leg and neck injuries after a motorcycle crash in Wondai just before 4:00pm on Friday.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred on the Bunya Highway, near the intersection with Greenview Road.<\/p>\n

The highway was briefly blocked in both directions.<\/p>\n

The rider allegedly left the scene of the crash but was located nearby.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

A 43-year-old Cherbourg woman will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on December 11.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She will be charged with various drug offences after police pulled over and searched a vehicle in Cobbo Street, Cherbourg, last Thursday.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

On November 1, police executed a search warrant at an address in Bulgi Street, Cherbourg, where they allegedly located various drug items.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a result, a 43-year-old Cherbourg woman will appear in\u00a0 Murgon Magistrates Court on November 27.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

About 11:20pm on Saturday,\u00a0police located a Jeep Cherokee down an embankment on Cherbourg Road.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Police attended the registered address of the vehicle and spoke to the owner, a 46-year-old Murgon man.<\/p>\n

He allegedly admitted to police he had driven the vehicle after consuming alcohol.<\/p>\n

He will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on November 13 charged with drink-driving.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Between 7:30am and 11:40pm on Sunday, unknown offenders used a tool to cut a security screen and enter a residence on Hillview Street, Cherbourg.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They damaged property at the address before leaving on foot.<\/p>\n

Between 9:00pm on Sunday and 5:00am on November 5, thieves targeted an address on Grant Crescent, Wondai.<\/p>\n

They stole items from the rear of the dwelling.<\/p>\n

Investigations into both incidents are continuing.<\/p>\n

A 28-year-old Cherbourg man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on November 27 charged with stealing after an incident at a Murgon business about 4:00pm on Monday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
