November 8, 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

The final meeting of the South Burnett Community Agriculture Network for 2018 will be held on November 27 at Maidenwell Hall.<\/p>\n

A complimentary light dinner will be served at 5:30pm before the meeting gets underway at 6:00pm.<\/p>\n

BIEDO CEO Kristy Frahm said\u00a0 everyone was welcome to come along to enjoy an evening of information and discussion about agriculture.<\/p>\n

Guest speaker will be South Burnett Deputy Mayor Kathy Duff, recently appointed to Council’s Rural Services portfolio.<\/p>\n

“Skye Douglass, of HighBrit Free-Range Pastured Beef, will also let us know about her recent experience in the National Farmers Federation Diversity in Ag Leadership Program,\u201d Kristy said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlong with dinner and guest presentations, this meeting will give us an opportunity to celebrate National Agriculture Day, review 2018 Ag Network discussions and plan for 2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

The South Burnett Community Agriculture Network was formed in early 2017 to provide a regular opportunity for producers and growers from various sectors of agriculture across the South Burnett to connect and share information about challenges and opportunities facing agriculture in the region.<\/p>\n
