November 3, 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

School leavers looking to maximise their chances of going to university – or who want to use their summer break to get ready for uni – have been encouraged to apply for the University of Southern Queensland\u2019s Accelerated Entry Pathway Program.<\/p>\n

The free program serves as an alternative pathway for Year 12 graduates who want to gain entry into an undergraduate degree at USQ.<\/p>\n

This includes students who are unsure if their OP score will get them into their desired degree program, didn\u2019t undertake an OP program at high school and seek a different entry pathway to higher education, or want to hone their skills further so that they are more prepared for university study.<\/p>\n

The program starts on December 3.<\/p>\n

Participants must attend two, two-week on-campus workshops at USQ Toowoomba, in addition to online study in between.<\/p>\n

Full accommodation bursaries are available for students who do not live near a USQ campus, allowing them to experience Residential College life on the Toowoomba campus while they attend classes.<\/p>\n

Successful completion of the program allows students to apply for entry into certain USQ undergraduate degrees.<\/p>\n

Applications close on November 28.<\/p>\n
