A 27-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged with a number of offences following a break-and-enter at a business on River Road on October 20.<\/p>\n

Police allege two people entered the business and stole fuel from a vehicle along with a nail gun.<\/p>\n

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Dave Tierney, said that as police left the premises about 9:55pm, they observed a red Holden Commodore, registration 599-YKJ, which they believed may have been linked to their investigations.<\/p>\n

“Police attempted to intercept the vehicle however it then accelerated rapidly away, causing police to activate their warning lights,” Snr Sergeant Tierney said.<\/p>\n

“Police shortly discontinued their attempts to intercept due to the manner in which the vehicle was being driven.”<\/p>\n

Through subsequent investigations, police visited a nearby storage shed where the 27-year-old Kingaroy man was located along with property alleged to have been stolen.<\/p>\n

Police will allege a number of other offences had occurred at the business since August 1.<\/p>\n

The man will appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on November 5 charged with stealing, unlawful entry to a motor vehicle and four counts of break and enter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
