Hudson’s Circus were planning to bring their show to Kingaroy, but when the recent storms hit – and more rain was forecast – they decided to postpone their performances and refund ticket sales.<\/p>\n

Instead, they held a special charity fundraiser show to help provide emergency relief for Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

This show was held in Springfield on October 17 and raised $790.<\/p>\n

Hudson’s Circus recently presented a cheque for this amount to the South Burnett Regional Council’s Human and Social Recovery Sub-Group.<\/p>\n

A Council spokesperson said the Sub-Group would distribute the funds to an agency which had provided significant support to people affected by the October storm.<\/p>\n

The Sub-Group will recommend a recipient to Council at the end of November.<\/p>\n
