Police are hunting a stolen silver-grey 2006 Toyota LandCruiser ute involved in violent incidents in the South Burnett on Monday morning.<\/p>\n

The last confirmed sighting was at Ban Ban Springs where it was involved in a fuel-drive off at the service station.<\/p>\n

Registration is 189-JHY.<\/p>\n

Police have urged residents not to approach the vehicle as the occupants – a man and woman – are armed with a rifle.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The farm ute was stolen from Rick Greenup’s property at Ironpot early on Monday morning.<\/p>\n

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant David Tierney, said a co-offender following the LandCruiser in a Toyota Prado – stolen earlier from Toowoomba – were then involved in a rollover on the\u00a0Kingaroy-Burrandowan Road.<\/p>\n

QAS was called to this incident at 11:16am but paramedics did not treat anyone at the scene.<\/p>\n

Snr Sgt Tierney said the LandCruiser was involved in a second incident during which a member of the public’s 4WD was rammed, hitting a tree, and the driver threatened with a rifle.<\/p>\n

No one was physically injured.<\/p>\n

The LandCruiser driver, a 30-year-old man, is described as Caucasian, about 195cm tall with a solid build and brown hair.<\/strong><\/p>\n

His passenger, an 18-year-old woman, is described as Caucasian, about 160cm tall with a proportionate build and brown hair.<\/p>\n

Extensive police patrols were launched in the Durong and Ironpot areas.<\/p>\n

The LandCruiser was seen at 11:30am at the intersection of Freshwaters Road and Burrandowan Road.<\/p>\n

Members of the public should immediately call Triple Zero (000) if they spot the vehicle.<\/p>\n
