The recent storms in the South Burnett have eased pressure for Boondooma Dam irrigators, with water levels taking a sharp rise on Saturday.<\/p>\n

At 10:00am on Monday morning, Boondooma Dam was at 40.8 per cent, compared with 37.69 per cent on October 18 and 36.66 per cent on July 23.<\/p>\n

Medium priority water allocations by SunWater for irrigators on the Boyne River & Tarong Water Scheme have been increased to 46 per cent for one month (previously 24 per cent for one month).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This is still well down on the\u00a0100 per cent available in 2017-18.<\/p>\n

Medium Priority water allocations are mainly used for agricultural production.<\/p>\n

Medium Priority water allocations have also been increased for irrigators on the Barker-Barambah\u00a0Water Scheme: From 10 per cent to 15 per cent.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Water levels have been rising more slowly in Bjelke-Petersen Dam.<\/p>\n
