Local businesses have jumped on board to support the BlazeAid volunteers currently setting up camp in Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

The Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry has donated $1000 towards food and fuel for the camp.<\/p>\n

Chamber president Rob Fitz-Herbert said on Thursday vouchers for $500 for fuel from Westlink Petroleum and $500 for fruit and vegetables from Anderssons Fruit Market had been given to camp co-ordinator John Lillico.<\/p>\n

Rob said Danny Kreutzer, from Westlink Petroleum, had also added an extra $500 worth of vouchers when he heard about the volunteer project.<\/p>\n

Abigail Andersson, from Anderssons Fruit Market, said the business was also working in with the Kingaroy QCWA to provide support for the rostered meals.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, South Burnett Mayor Keith Campbell handed over $1000 worth of SupaIGA vouchers on behalf of Council to Mr Lillico to be used to purchase groceries.<\/p>\n
