Four Murgon businesses have banded together to host a Pink Ribbon Breakfast on Friday morning (October 19) to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.<\/p>\n

Alicia’s Spa and Hairworx, Carney’s Feed Store, Murgon Moto & More and Remko Engineering will be hosting a sausage sizzle at 129 Lamb Street from 7:00am to 9:00am.<\/p>\n

There’ll be pink cupcakes, pink tattoos, pink nail polish and 100 boards.<\/p>\n

But the big question is … will local businessman Mick Laughton do the big shave?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mick has already been re-coloured as the first phase of the “Mick’s Makeover” project to raise $5000 for breast cancer research.<\/p>\n

If he raises the full amount, he’s promised to lose his beard, too …<\/p>\n

All donations over $2 are tax deductible.<\/p>\n

If you can’t make it to the Pink Ribbon Breakfast, donations can also be dropped off at any of the four businesses.<\/p>\n
