Fire badly damaged a single-story timber home in Margaret Street, Yarraman, on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

Emergency crews were called to the residence, located just down from the bowls club, about 11:00am.<\/p>\n

The house was well alight when firefighters arrived.<\/p>\n

The three crews attending the blaze brought the flames under control in less than 30 minutes but remained on site mopping up until about 1:50pm.<\/p>\n
