October 12, 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

A truck driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries after his semi-trailer jackknifed near the Cooyar Range on Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n

The semi ran off the New England Highway and smashed into a tree about 3:45pm, trapping the driver inside the cabin for about 15 minutes.<\/p>\n

Police, QAS and firefighters attended the scene.<\/p>\n

Branches had to removed from the cabin to free the driver who was then assessed at the scene by paramedics.<\/p>\n

He was transported to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.<\/p>\n

Firefighters and Toowoomba Council workers cleared up a small diesel spill on the highway.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
