The line-up of comedians for Kingaroy’s big Drought Relief fundraising night has been released.<\/p>\n

The crazy adults-only night will be held at the home of the Kingaroy Red Ants – T.J. O’Neill Oval – on November 3.<\/p>\n

The Brisbane comedians who are coming to town for the night promise an evening of fun and they’ll be backed up with entertainment from local band RiSA.<\/p>\n

The line-up:<\/p>\n

Jasmine Fairbairn<\/strong> – Originally hailing from Canada, Jasmine was let loose in Australia four years ago and began her comedy career not long afterwards. As well as being a regular on ABC Radio, Jasmine runs Knockoff Comedy at the Brisbane Powerhouse, and has supported Fiona O\u2019Laughlin, Greg Fleet and Mel Buttle.<\/p>\n

Clayton Storey<\/strong> – Clayton started trying out stand-up out comedy four years ago as an attempt to become a better actor … but instead he developed a new obsession where he could draw upon his rather ridiculous (and sometimes unfortunate) life experiences for the entertainment of others. Clayton and Jasmine co-wrote and starred in a stage play ‘”Undertow” at Metro Arts this September which received nine awards at the Sunshine Coast Theatre Festival and KSP Theatre Festival.<\/p>\n

Nicchia Schutt<\/strong> – Nicchia is a born-and-bred country girl who still knows how to muster sheep, hates flies, and is obsessed with Doctor Who. She is a safety officer by day and comedian by night, with a distinctive dark humour. Nicchia has performed stand-up at venues in Brisbane, Perth and the Gold Coast, and recently performed Neighbourhood Watching, her show with fellow comedian Beck Buckingham at Bris Funny Fest.<\/p>\n

Andrew Dawson<\/strong> – Andrew started his comedy career providing warm-up for live TV broadcasts including The Voice and Fox Footy. He performed his debut stand-up show, Ambien Excuses – a show about life lessons – earlier this year. It includes stories from growing up in Tasmania, the time he was one of the stars of a Highway Patrol episode, and the pitfalls of trying to bribe Israeli soldiers to cross a border.<\/p>\n

Lauren Randall<\/strong> – Lauren is a single 20-something librarian that (somewhat) proudly encapsulates everything wrong with Gen Y. She has performed stand-up across Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coas and guarantees she\u2019ll make you laugh the way you might when you see someone who falls but isn\u2019t seriously injured.<\/p>\n

The comedy night is being supported by AGL, Graham House Community Centre, and event hosts the Kingaroy Red Ants.<\/p>\n

All proceeds will be going to Graham House to support primary producers across the South Burnett.<\/p>\n
