A special family reunion was held at the Bunya Mountains at the weekend for members of a well-known Nanango family who are now scattered across Queensland and NSW.<\/p>\n

Brothers Jim and Mick Peady ran a painting business in Nanango, and Jim’s wife Norma, who died in 1992, served on Nanango Shire Council for 16 years.<\/p>\n

Jim (d. 2005) had eight children and Mick (d. 1995) had three.<\/p>\n

Jim would have turned 100 on Monday, which provided a perfect excuse for 10 of the brothers’ 11 children to gather together with their spouses for a reunion.<\/p>\n

southburnett.com.au<\/strong> ran into the Peady clan at the Maidenwell Hotel on Saturday where they had stopped in for refreshments on their way to their three-night stay at the Bunyas.<\/p>\n
