Police are investigating a string of fires that were lit along the road leading into Cherbourg about midnight on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Firefighters extinguished about five fires that appeared to have been lit consecutively.<\/p>\n

Police who attended the scene were abused by an unknown man who decamped into bushland.<\/p>\n

They are calling for any witnesses from a nearby birthday party who may be able to provide assistance to identify this unknown man.<\/p>\n

About 1:00am on Thursday, police spotted two juveniles riding an unregistered and uninsured motorbike on a road in Cherbourg.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The two, aged 14 and 16, were arrested a short time later at an address in Cherbourg.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

About 6:00pm on Saturday, a vehicle collided with the rear trailer of a truck in Wondai.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The driver of the vehicle received minor cuts and abrasions while the driver of the truck suffered no injuries.<\/p>\n

Any witnesses to the crash should call Murgon Police on\u00a0(07) 4179-5222 or Wondai Police on (07) 4168-5211 and quote report number QP1801767733.<\/p>\n

Over the past couple of days, a number of graffiti tags have been appearing on vehicles and signs around Murgon.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Murgon police have been kept busy with a number of drug-related incidents in the area.<\/strong><\/p>\n

About 8:00pm on Friday night, a 25-year-old man was arrested in Cherbourg. He has been charged with possessing drug utensils and will appear in\u00a0Murgon Magistrates Court on October 2.<\/p>\n

About 1:00am on Friday morning, a 22-year-old man was pulled over by police in Wondai. A search of his vehicle allegedly located drug utensils and a quantity of methamphetamine.<\/p>\n

He\u00a0will appear in the Murgon Magistrates Court on October 30.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

About 7:00pm on Saturday, police were called to a disturbance at a Cherbourg address.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A number of windows had been smashed at a house.<\/p>\n

A 43-year-old woman was arrested. She is due to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on October 16.<\/p>\n

Two hours later, police were called to a street disturbance in Cherbourg where two men aged 30 and 43 were allegedly fighting.<\/p>\n

They were arrested and charged with public nuisance, and are also due to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on October 16.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

A 25-year-old women will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court next month to face a charge of disqualified driving after she was stopped by Murgon police at 6:00pm on Sunday.<\/p>\n
