QFES has issued an alert about a grass fire on Barker Creek Flat, near Nanango.<\/p>\n

QFES crews are at a grass fire burning near the intersection of the D\u2019Aguilar Highway and Ballin Road intersection at Barker Creek Flat.<\/p>\n

The fire broke out about 10:00am and is posing no threat to property at this time.<\/p>\n

Firefighters are working to contain the blaze.<\/p>\n

There are traffic restrictions in the area, so motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.<\/p>\n

Residents should close windows and doors and keep their medications close by if they suffer from a respiratory condition.<\/p>\n
