You should not expect a firefighter at your door.<\/p>\n<p>People in the area will be affected by smoke, which will reduce visibility and air quality.<\/p>\n<p>Call Triple Zero (000) immediately if you believe your property is under threat.<\/p>\n<p>You need to be ready to follow your bushfire survival plan.<\/p>\n<p>If you do not have a plan, or intend to leave, you should be ready to leave the area because the situation could get worse quickly.<\/p>\n<p>The next update will be provided by 5:30pm or if the situation changes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>* * *<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE: 2:45pm Thursday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>At 2:45pm on Thursday, fire crews were despatched to a large grass fire burning near Smith Road and Faulkners Road at Booie.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The fire was reportedly burning near houses on Smith Road.<\/p>\n<p>Call Triple Zero (000) immediately if you believe your property is under threat.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #006699;\"><strong>Glan Devon Fire<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>UPDATE 6:40pm Thursday<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>South Burnett Regional Council has advised there is a temporary road closure at Locke Lane, Nanango <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It has been closed due to the impact of the fire in the area and potential debris.<\/p>\n<p>The road closure will be reassessed and an update provided by 8:30am Friday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE 5:35pm Thursday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bushfire warning level: ADVICE &#8211; STAY INFORMED<\/p>\n<p><strong>QFES crews are currently on scene at a bushfire burning near Locke Lane, East Nanango Grindstone Road and Cobby Road, Glan Devon.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This fire broke out earlier today and is posing no threat to property at this time.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters are currently monitoring the blaze, which is burning within containment lines.<\/p>\n<p>Crews will continue to monitor the fire overnight.<\/p>\n<p>Glan Devon residents may be affected by a smoke haze throughout the evening.<\/p>\n<p>Residents are asked to close windows and doors and if suffering from a respiratory condition, keep medications close by.<\/p>\n<p>Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.<\/p>\n<p>If residents are concerned their property is under threat they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE 3:50pm Thursday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bushfire warning level: ADVICE &#8211; STAY INFORMED<\/p>\n<p><strong>A bushfire is currently burning near Locke Lane, East Nanango Grindstone Road and Cobby Road, travelling towards Mount Stanley Road, Glan Devon.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>People in the area will be affected by smoke, which will reduce visibility and air quality.<\/p>\n<p>Waterbombing operations are being conducted in the area.<\/p>\n<p>Properties are not under direct threat at this time.
