South Burnett Regional Council announced the successful applicants for Round 1 of its 2018-19 Community Grants program at its monthly meeting on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The funding round closed on August 31. <\/p>\n

Communities portfolio chair Cr Danita Potter said the Council had received 54 applications seeking a total of $105,117.17.<\/p>\n

It approved 41 for $65,640.88.<\/p>\n

This was about $7000 more than a year ago, when Council received 50 applications requesting a total of $125,952.88, and approved 39 for $58,449.55.<\/p>\n

The successful applicants were:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Community Hall Insurance Grants: <\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Mondure Hall Committee – $1000\n
  • Queensland Dairy & Heritage Museum – $1000\n
