September 17, 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Monday, the Cooinda Embroidery and Craft Group donated 32 quilts and knitted \/ crocheted rugs to a representative of South Burnett Foster Care.<\/p>\n

The items were lovingly made by the group with the aid of a $500 community grant from the South Burnett Regional Council, which helped to pay for the cost of the materials.<\/p>\n

Club co-ordinator Rhona Merton thanked Cr Terry Fleischfresser, who was representing Council, at the handover.<\/p>\n

The Cooinda Craft Group meets on Monday mornings at the Town Common Hall in Oliver Bond Street, Kingaroy, and new members are always welcome.<\/p>\n

There are currently 31 members in the group.<\/p>\n
