September 13, 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

The British are coming! Paul Revere probably didn’t say it, but the Kingaroy & District Vintage Machinery Club definitely will be this weekend.<\/p>\n

The club is celebrating everything British – tractors, trucks, cars, bikes, steam engines and other vintage machinery – at their 21st annual rally which will be held in their club grounds adjacent to Kingaroy Airport on Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n

Marques on display will include Nuffield, David Brown, Lister, Triumph, Wolseley, Morris and Bristol.<\/p>\n

Clubs will be coming from Dalby, Bundaberg, Toowoomba, Gladstone and northern NSW.<\/p>\n

All the favourite events will be back for the rally, including the tractor pull, sled pulling, slow tractor racing and ploughing demonstrations.<\/p>\n

As well, there will be a large display of stationary engines, all chugging away.<\/p>\n

This is the sixth year the rally has been held in Kingaroy at the club’s purpose-built grounds.<\/p>\n

\n1:30pm – Sled Pulling and Slow Tractor Race
\n1:45pm – Post Ripping
\n2:00pm – Grand Parade
\n3:00pm – Corn Picking and Threshing
\n3:30pm – Raking, Baling and Loading Demonstration; and Corn Shelling
\n4:15pm – Ploughing Demonstration
