September 13, 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gympie Regional Council is inviting feedback from residents and businesses in Goomeri, Kilkivan and nearby areas about the Kilkivan to Kingaroy Rail Trail.<\/p>\n

The Rail Trail was opened in 2017 by the Gympie and South Burnett councils, with funding provided by the State Government.<\/p>\n

GRC allocated $130,000 more funding in the 2018-19 financial year to improve the trail, based on feedback informally provided by community and recreational users.<\/p>\n

The Council would now like to hear feedback about these improvements and the usability, economic and tourism benefits of the Trail.<\/p>\n

Comments can be made\u00a0online<\/a>\u00a0or download a\u00a0form<\/a>, which can be printed out and submitted at Council’s Planning and Development office at 29 Channon Street, Gympie.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Council will be accepting feedback from September 10 to September 30.<\/p>\n
