There’s a special bowls challenge happening in Kingaroy this Sunday (September 16) to help raise funds for the South Burnett Autism Support Group.<\/p>\n

The challenge, at the Kingaroy Bowls Club, will run from noon to 5:00pm and is limited to 28 four-person teams.<\/p>\n

Teams don’t have to pre-book … just roll up on the day!\u00a0 And both bowlers and non-bowlers are welcome to come along and have some fun.<\/p>\n

Cost is $20 a head, which includes lunch at noon, 15 ends of lawn bowls and nibbles.<\/p>\n

Wayne Bushell, from Kingaroy Rotary, said lunch would be a choice of\u00a0beef, satay, honey and soy, or chilli burgers.<\/p>\n

“If there are any vegetarians or vegans, let me know in advance and I will prepare vege burgers,” Wayne said.<\/p>\n

Messages can be left on the Rotary Kingaroy Facebook page<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

There will also be raffles during the afternoon.<\/p>\n

People who’d prefer to pop in at noon and enjoy a burger without the bowls, can enjoy lunch for just $10.<\/p>\n
