Murgon and Cherbourg residents should notice an increased police presence in their towns at the weekend.<\/p>\n

A post on the MyPolice South West blog on Thursday by Senior Constable Rene Bond said the State Flying Squad and the Tactical Crime Squad would be making their way to Murgon and Cherbourg.<\/p>\n

The post continued:<\/strong><\/p>\n

“This operation will see an abundance of police from a number of different areas, assisting local police with our vision of strengthening community relationships.<\/em><\/p>\n

“The State Flying Squad travel throughout our great state of Queensland assisting local criminal investigation branches with matters of community importance.<\/em><\/p>\n

“The Tactical Crime Squad are a dynamic team of police who provide assistance to local police crews and investigation branches with regard to upholding community safety.<\/em><\/p>\n

“So, if you are out and about this weekend in Murgon or Cherbourg be sure to say hello to our Queensland Police State Flying Squad members and our Moreton District Tactical Crime Squad.”<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
