South Burnett Community Agriculture Network’s next meeting is on August 27 (Photo: BIEDO)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nAugust 20, 2018<\/strong><\/p>\nThe South Burnett Community Agriculture Network will be holding its next meeting at Wooroolin’s Memorial Hall on Monday (August 27) to discuss vegetation management.<\/p>\n
Representatives from the Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Environment will be giving a presentation on the subject at the meeting.<\/p>\n
A workshop element will also be included, with representatives from the Department, AgForce and Council focussing on Queensland Globe Mapping and how it can assist on-farm practices.<\/p>\n
Producers and agricultural stakeholders are welcome to ask any questions they have about vegetation management and the legal requirements agricultural producers must meet.<\/p>\n
The purpose of the Agriculture Network is to provide a regular opportunity for producers and growers from various sectors of South Burnett agriculture to connect and share information and insights about their operations. <\/strong><\/p>\nThe South Burnett Regional Council, along with representatives from a range of organisations and agencies relevant to agriculture, also appreciate the chance to hear directly from producers and share information about their own agriculture-related activities and programs.<\/p>\n
Everyone is welcome to attend, and the group welcomes input from other interested agriculture-related groups and organisations.<\/p>\n
