Kingaroy Lions Club presented the South Burnett Community Hospital Foundation Board with a cheque for $1000 at its recent meeting held at the Lady Bjelke-Petersen Community Hospital.<\/p>\n

Kingaroy Lions past president Norm Jackson told the Foundation Board members that in the last financial year the club raised more than $40,000 to give away to charity organisations, and a further $40,000 to spend throughout the local community.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis wonderful, generous donation will go towards the purchase of hospital equipment,\u201d Foundation chairman Wayne Kratzmann said.<\/p>\n
