Three youths have been arrested in relation to recent car thefts and break-ins in Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

The arrests follow investigations by Kingaroy detectives and the\u00a0Child Protection and Investigation Unit.<\/p>\n

A 15-year-old Kingaroy boy has been charged with offences allegedly committed against a Victoria Street business on July 14 and 26, an Avoca Street business on July 26 as well as offences committed on August 8.<\/p>\n

The charges include four counts each of break and enter, wilful damage, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, unlicensed driving, two counts of evade police and one count of stealing.<\/p>\n

He will appear in the Kingaroy Children’s Court.<\/p>\n

A 15-year-old Blackbutt boy has been charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, supplying a dangerous drug and one count each of evade police, possess dangerous drug and possess a drug utensil.\u00a0He will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.<\/p>\n

A 15-year-old Blackwater boy was also dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act for two counts of break and enter and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.<\/p>\n

The arrests followed the theft of a blue Kia Carnival from the car park at the rear of the Commonwealth Bank about 2:30pm on Wednesday.\u00a0This vehicle was located on Thursday morning at Apex Park, Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

A second vehicle, a blue Mazda 3, was taken from the car park at the rear of the Kingaroy Town Hall on Wednesday.\u00a0It was found in Murgon on Thursday morning.<\/p>\n

On July 26, a black Holden Commodore was stolen from Pound Street, Kingaroy. This vehicle was located later that day in Hodge Street.<\/p>\n

A blue Toyota Corolla was also taken late last month from a business in Victoria Street, Kingaroy. This vehicle later allegedly evaded police in Murgon before being returned to the business and parked back in the garage.<\/p>\n

Police allege keys to all these vehicles were stolen before the cars were taken.<\/p>\n

Investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n
