Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington is encouraging groups and individuals to submit applications for Round 6 of her “Local Hero Grants”.<\/p>\n

Mrs Frecklington said grants of $250 were available for community groups in the Nanango Electorate, and for individuals needing assistance to travel to sporting events or other competitions.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe grants provides an opportunity to show my support, thanks and appreciation for all our hard-working volunteer groups who make such a difference for our community. And to encourage people who are attending sporting or other events and need assistance to make it possible,\u201d Mrs Frecklington said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThrough the first five rounds of my Local Hero Grants, $5000 has been granted to community groups and individuals.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe closing date for Round 6 is August 31, so get your applications in!<\/p>\n
