A truck carrying a bobcat and auger was badly damaged by fire on Friday morning.<\/p>\n

Urban and rural fire crews were called to the incident, on the Memerambi-Gordonbrook Road, about 9:30am.<\/p>\n

The truck was well-involved in flames when firefighters arrived.<\/p>\n

Crews quickly extinguished the flames and stopped the fire from spreading into nearby paddocks.<\/p>\n

No one was injured in the incident.<\/p>\n

An 81-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged with shop stealing after Aldi staff allegedly spotted him stealing items while reviewing in-store security vision.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Staff reviewed the video after finding empty packets hidden on shelves.<\/p>\n

Police were called on Thursday after employees spotted the man returning to the store.<\/p>\n

They allegedly located stolen items secreted in the man’s pockets when he was paying for other goods.<\/p>\n

The man will appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 20 charged with two counts of\u00a0 shop stealing.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/p>\n

A 23-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged in relation to the theft of property from a Markwell Street business in Kingaroy on July 6 and July 16.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 6 charged with two counts of stealing property.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/p>\n

A man has been charged with possessing a dangerous drug and unlawfully possessing a weapon after police stopped him in Doonkuna Street, Kingaroy, at 11:10pm on Wednesday.<\/b><\/p>\n

He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 30.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/p>\n

Police were called to a Kingaroy hotel at 10:25pm on Saturday due to the alleged behaviour of a patron.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A 55-year-old Kingaroy man had earlier been removed from the premises.<\/p>\n

However, police allege he remained at the front of the premises, threatening staff.<\/p>\n

Police gave the man a move on direction to leave the area.<\/p>\n

However, the man allegedly ignored this direction and after being warned several times was arrested.<\/p>\n

He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 20 charged with disobeying a police direction and committing a public nuisance offence.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/p>\n

Police attended a hotel in Haly Street, Kingaroy, at 12:45am on Sunday after reports of a disturbance involving two men.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On arrival police required a 42-year-old Murgon man to state his name.<\/p>\n

The man allegedly refused and ignored repeated warnings.<\/p>\n

The man then allegedly struggled with police as he was being arrested.<\/p>\n

A second man, a 21-year-old from Murgon, was given a move on direction.<\/p>\n

When he allegedly refused to comply, he was also arrested.<\/p>\n

The 42-year-old man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 20, charged with disorderly behaviour on licensed premises, obstructing police and contravening a requirement.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old man will appear on the same day charged with disorderly behaviour and contravening a requirement.<\/p>\n

\u00a0A 41-year-old Ballogie woman has been charged with drink-driving after police pulled over her Mazda ute at 12:10am on Thursday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 8.<\/p>\n

She allegedly blew 0.122 BAC.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Mitsubishi sedan was keyed at some time between 11:15am and 1:45pm last Monday while parked in the Shoppingworld underground car park.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A sharp implement was run down the driver\u2019s side of the vehicle.<\/p>\n
