Nanango’s new United Service Station opened for business on Monday after a major redevelopment that has doubled the number of bowsers and modernised the station’s facilities<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Nanango’s updated United Petroleum service station opened on Monday after several months of construction.<\/p>\n

The corner of Alfred Street and the D’Aguilar Highway has been the home of a much smaller petrol station and mechanical workshop for many years.<\/p>\n

At its April 2017 meeting, the South Burnett Regional Council granted United Petroleum development approval to upgrade the facility.<\/p>\n

The old building, which formerly housed a garage and mechanical workshop, was demolished.<\/p>\n

The new petrol station has doubled its number of bowsers; expanded the site’s entries so it can be used by trucks; and upgraded the service area to
\nincorporate a pie shop and ATM, along with seven customer car parking bays.<\/p>\n

On Monday, the service station was selling unleaded e10, normal unleaded and diesel fuel almost 10c per litre below Kingaroy prices.<\/p>\n
