Jed Graham … missing from Memerambi<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

UPDATE June 26: Good news … Jed has been located overnight, safe and sound.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant David Tierney, said the missing boy was located about midnight by his parents in the Weens Road area near Mt Wooroolin.<\/p>\n

They took him home and immediately contacted police.<\/p>\n

Family members, friends and other community members as well as SES volunteers and plain-clothes and uniform police had been searching for the teenager since he was reported missing.<\/p>\n

The police Polair helicopter was also called in at 9:40pm to conduct aerial sweeps of the rail trail, north and south of Memerambi, using FLIR thermal sensing equipment.<\/p>\n

Senior Sergeant David Tierney said the community’s involvement in finding Jed was appreciated by police and his family.<\/p>\n

Police are appealing for urgent public assistance to find a 13-year-old boy reported missing from Memerambi on Monday.<\/p>\n

Jed Graham was last seen leaving a Gordonbrook Road residence at 8:20am with the intention of walking along the South Burnett Rail Trail to school.<\/p>\n

However, the boy may have decided to miss school.<\/p>\n

Police and the family hold serious concerns for his safety due to a medical condition.<\/p>\n

A search is currently being conducted by police and SES volunteers.<\/p>\n

Jed is described as Caucasian with a fair complexion, 170cm tall with a slight build, and strawberry blond hair.<\/p>\n

He was last seen wearing a Kingaroy State High School school uniform of a shirt, dark blue tracksuit pants and black leather shoes, and carrying an aqua blue backpack.<\/p>\n

If anyone recognises the boy or knows his whereabouts, they should contact Kingaroy Police on (07) 4160-4900.<\/p>\n
