Two men and a teenager have been charged in relation to a string of offences allegedly committed in Murgon, Tiaro and Eli Waters earlier this week.<\/p>\n

A 16-year-old boy from Cherbourg, an 18-year-old man from Rockhampton, and a 19-year-old man from Blackwater were charged after investigations into alleged break-and-enters and car thefts.<\/p>\n

The two adults were expected to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Police will allege the trio forced their way into a home in Perkins Street, Murgon, on Sunday evening and threatened a woman with a tomahawk, before stealing her house keys.<\/p>\n

The woman was taken to Murgon Hospital with an arm injury which occurred when her door was allegedly forced open.<\/p>\n

Police will further allege the trio was involved in an incident at the Royal Hotel in Tiaro where a window was smashed and multiple cartons of alcohol were stolen from the bar and bottleshop.<\/p>\n

A Commodore stationwagon, which was being prepared for the Dunga Derby Rally For a Cause, was allegedly stolen and later involved in a crash at Cherbourg.<\/p>\n

The trio also allegedly broke into multiple cars across Eli Waters including a vehicle in Spoonbill Way where a man was allegedly threatened with a knife.<\/p>\n

The 16-year-old boy has been charged with eight counts of break and enter, eight counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, six counts of unlicensed driving, three counts of stealing, three counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, two counts of failing to stop and one count each of receiving tainted property, assault occasioning bodily harm and burglary.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old man has been charged with eight counts of break and enter, four counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two counts of stealing and one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle, possessing dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.<\/p>\n

The 18-year-old man has been charged with three counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two counts of stealing and one count each of armed robbery, assault occasioning bodily harm and unlicensed driving.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
