Goodger campdrafter Mark Buttsworth has pocketed the $25,000 first prize at the inaugural Campdraft Super Series, held at the Warwick Showgrounds on the weekend.<\/p>\n

The veteran competitor took the top prize on board “Yulgilbar Agile Playgirl” – a mare he trained – and also won the highest cutout prize on “One Stylish Pepto”.<\/p>\n

At the end of the two-day event, which attracted more than 200 competitors, Mark took home a total of $40,000 in prize money.<\/p>\n

The aim of the Super Series is to gather the best seasoned horses and riders into the one competition.<\/p>\n

Following the success of this weekend’s event in Warwick, the aim is to hold three events next year, potentially making available more than half a million dollars in prize money.<\/p>\n

The Warwick event, which was streamed live, consisted of two full rounds with the 30 highest aggregated scorers advancing into the final.<\/p>\n

Prize money of $32,000 was available to be earned in each round, paid to 15th place, plus a $2000 cut out prize.<\/p>\n
