The huge ferris wheel will again be a highlight in sideshow alley at the Kingaroy Show<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

May 4, 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year’s Kingaroy Show show will feature all the usual fun of the fair plus a huge Saturday evening of entertainment.<\/p>\n

It’s the only South Burnett show that runs for three days, although Friday is restricted to Pavilion judging and a dog show.<\/p>\n

The main days are Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n

The first 1000 children through the gates on Saturday morning will receive a free show bag.<\/p>\n

(This is a result of a year-long fundraising campaign by South Burnett Show Society members, collecting used car batteries for recycling.)<\/p>\n

Highlights on Saturday will include freestyle motocross shows in the main arena, the Grand Parade at 1:30pm, chainsaws and woodchopping.<\/p>\n

There’ll also be all the usual beef and dairy cattle competitions.<\/p>\n

On Saturday evening, South Burnett Musical Comedy Society members will present a selection of songs from their upcoming performance of Les Miserables in the main arena from 7:00pm.<\/p>\n

This will be followed by fireworks at 7:30pm.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, the equestrian events will take over the main ring for most of the day, including showjumping and mini-horses.<\/p>\n

All the other show attractions will also be in action, including sideshow alley, trade and pavilion displays.<\/p>\n

Kingaroy showgoers will have the opportunity to watch the 2018 Queensland Wingless Sprints title be decided as part of the \u00a0cost of entry ticket.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The annual Show Speedway meeting will get underway on Sunday evening at 5:00pm.<\/p>\n

As well as the Wingless Sprints, there will also be Junior Sedans, Super Sedans, National 4s and Modlites in action on the showground tract.<\/p>\n
