Employment Matters CEO Bob Felsman has developed a purely local Job Board for employers
seeking staff, and readers looking for a new job<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

southburnett.com.au<\/strong> is introducing a new service for our readers today – a live job board run by Kingaroy recruitment consultancy Employment Matters.<\/p>\n

Employment Matters is a privately owned South Burnett business that helps employers manage staff recruitment.<\/p>\n

Because it’s free of any Government contracts, it is able to focus on finding the right person for an employer\u2019s needs without any bias and with zero vested interest in any specific group of people referred by Government bodies.<\/p>\n

The business has been operating since 2004.<\/p>\n

“At that time, a local vacancy was traditionally advertised on one employment web site and one advertisement in a local paper,” CEO Bob Felsman said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Now, depending upon the position and the employer, a vacancy can be advertised on up to five different web sites, up to two different print options and placed multiple times.<\/p>\n

“That is time consuming, tedious and expensive for busy employers, and it makes the task of finding new staff much more complicated than it once was.”<\/p>\n

employmentmatters.com.au was conceived over 12 months ago as the South Burnett\u2019s own employment web site.<\/p>\n

It provides a central place where employers can list their local job vacancies, and it offers three different service levels that range from a completely free job listing to paid options that offer increasing levels of service.<\/p>\n

To list a vacancy, an employer simply needs to go to employmentmatters.com.au, select South Burnett, select Employers and then post a job.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It will be necessary for them to create their own username and password log-in to protect the confidentiality of their listing.<\/p>\n

For job applicants, the site provides a central place to identify local jobs of interest.<\/p>\n

Applicants will be able to directly apply for positions advertised on the site.<\/p>\n

Job Alerts are also be available for those who wish to take advantage of that service.<\/p>\n
