A 25-year-old Nanango man has been charged with break-and-enter following an incident in Kingaroy on April 1.<\/p>\n

Kingaroy Police executed a search warrant at a Rosella Street address last Thursday and recovered property allegedly stolen from a house in Premier Drive.<\/p>\n

The man will appear\u00a0in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on April 23.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A 34-year-old Scarborough man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 14 charged with drink driving after police pulled over a Ford hatchback on Haly Street, Kingaroy, at 2:40am on Thursday for an RBT.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The man allegedly blew 0.158 BAC.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h3>\n

About 5:30pm on Thursday, a Frangipani Street, Kingaroy, resident disturbed three youths trying to break into their home.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once disturbed, the trio fled on foot.<\/p>\n

The suspects are described as three males. One was about 180cm tall, 95kg with dark hair.<\/p>\n

All three were Caucasian. aged between 15-17 and on scooters.<\/p>\n

Investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h3>\n

At 1:15am on Saturday. Kingaroy police were called to a Railway Terrace address after a resident disturbed a man in his front yard.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A second man was observed in the driveway of a neighbouring address. Both left the area prior to police arrival.<\/p>\n

The duo were described as of Aboriginal appearance, with one wearing a cap.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Also on Saturday, three youths were observed unlawfully on the grounds of the Kingaroy fire station.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They turned a fire hose on before climbing the 11m tall hose drying pole.<\/p>\n

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant David Tierney, said the trio climbed to the top of the pole and filmed themselves on their mobile phones.<\/p>\n

When police arrived, they attempted to flee the scene by jumping into nearby yards and swapping their clothing with each other in an attempt to evade police.<\/p>\n

All three were subsequently located nearby.<\/p>\n

Two 15-year-old Kingaroy boys and 14-year-old Kingaroy boy were dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act for trespass, unregulated high risk activities and unlawfully interfering with a fire prevention apparatus.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Police were forced to arrest a drunken man standing in the middle of Haly Street at 1:15am on Sunday morning.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Snr Sgt Tierney said the 22-year-old Kingaroy man continued to stand in the way of the police vehicle. Police had to come to complete stop to avoid hitting him.<\/p>\n

The man was found to have a breath alcohol concentration of 0.194. <\/p>\n

He was later released from police custody and issued with an infringement notice for committing a public nuisance offence ($378).<\/p>\n

At 7:25pm on Sunday, unknown persons damaged a Holden Colorado while it was parked in the SupaIGA car park in Avoca street.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the past week, \u00a0Kingaroy Police also attended five calls related to domestic violence incidents, issued 32 infringement notices for life-endangering traffic offences and performed 65 roadside breath tests.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
