April 3, 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n Two 16-year-old Kingaroy youths have been charged with trespass and interfering with fire extinguishers after an incident at St Mary’s Catholic College in Kingaroy last week.<\/p>\n Police will allege that at some time between\u00a05:45pm on March 26 and 6:00am the next day, entry was forced into a room at the school.<\/p>\n Fire extinguishers were removed and then set off in school grounds.<\/p>\n One of the 16-year-old boys has been dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act while the other will appear in Kingaroy Children’s Court.<\/p>\n Two more youths have been charged after a similar incident occurred at Kingaroy Hospital during which three wheelchairs were allegedly stolen.<\/strong><\/p>\n A 15-year-old Kingaroy youth has been charged with trespass, interfering with a fire apparatus, break and enter, and theft.<\/p>\n A 17-year-old Kingaroy youth has been charged with break and enter and theft.<\/p>\n They will appear in Kingaroy Children’s Court at a later date.<\/p>\n On Wednesday night, \u00a0a 17-year-old Kingaroy boy and a 16-year-old Kingaroy boy were spotted allegedly breaking into a Haly Street factory where two fire extinguishers were discharged.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Police located the youths a short distance away.<\/p>\n The 17-year-old will appear in the Kingaroy Children’s Court charged with break and enter.<\/p>\n The 16-year-old was dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.<\/p>\n An 18-year-old Cooloola Cove man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on April 23 charged with driving without due care and control after a traffic crash last Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n About 12:50pm, a Holden Commodore and a Toyota LandCruiser collided at the intersection of the Booie-Crawford Road and Bunya Highway at Kingaroy.<\/p>\n Neither driver was injured.<\/p>\n At 1:40pm last Tuesday, an unknown person has entered a Glendon Street, Kingaroy, unit and stolen cash from a bag.\u00a0 The unit was open at the time with occupant outside in the carport.<\/strong><\/p>\n Investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n At 6:30am last Wednesday, police were called to an Avoca Street, Kingaroy, business after complaints from female staff that an elderly man was sitting outside exposing himself.<\/strong><\/p>\n Police located a 63-year-old Kingaroy man who was arrested and taken to Kingaroy Police Station.<\/p>\n He was later released after being issued with a $252 infringement notice for wilful exposure.<\/p>\n A 19-year-old Kingaroy woman was given a ticket for following too close ($294) after a nose-to-tail crash in Knight Street, Kingaroy, last Wednesday.<\/strong><\/p>\n A Holden sedan and Mazda sedan collided.<\/p>\n No one was injured.<\/p>\n A 15-year-old girl will appear in Kingaroy Children’s Court charged with entering premises and stealing after she was allegedly found by staff in\u00a0the storeroom of a Kingaroy hotel on Wednesday.<\/p>\n A 37-year-old Kingaroy man has been arrested and charged with public nuisance after allegedly causing a disturbance at a local grocery store on Thursday.<\/strong><\/p>\n Police will allege the man became abusive to staff when told he would have to wait for a food platter he had ordered to be prepared.<\/p>\n Police were called after he refused to leave.<\/p>\n The man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on April 23 charged with public nuisance, trespass and obstructing police.<\/p>\n Also on Thursday, Kingaroy\u00a0Police attended the scene of a traffic crash in Earl Street, Kingaroy, after a motorcycle rider fell from his bike.<\/strong><\/p>\n The rider told police he had to take evasive action to avoid colliding with a white Commodore that failed to give way at the intersection of Hodge Street.<\/p>\n The driver of the Commodore failed to stop.<\/p>\n Investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n Kingaroy Police are investigating the theft of a grey ARB canopy from the from the rear of a Ford Ranger vehicle on Thursday morning.<\/strong><\/p>\n The vehicle had been left unsecured and was parked in the car park of a Moore Street business at the time.<\/p>\n Unknown persons also stole a set of personalised registration plates, JJ94, from a Nissan utility.<\/p>\n The vehicle had been parked in the driveway of a residence in Olive Grove, off Kurtellen Crescent, Kingaroy.<\/p>\n A 24-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged with drink driving and unlicensed driving after police pulled over his Holden Commodore on Logan Road in the early hours of Friday.<\/strong><\/p>\n He allegedly recorded a blood alcohol concentration of 0.182.<\/p>\n He will appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on April 23.<\/p>\n Overnight on Monday,\u00a0unknown persons broke into a shed of a Premier Drive residence in Kingaroy and stole power tools.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Entry was gained through a closed but unlocked roller door.<\/p>\n During the past week, Kingaroy Police also attended eight calls related to domestic violence, issued 32 infringement notices for life-endangering traffic offences and performed 155 roadside breath tests.<\/p>\n Over the Easter long weekend,\u00a0132
