Award-winning actor and author William McInnes<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

April 2, 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

Award-winning Queensland actor William McInnes – well-known for his roles on multiple TV series including Seachange, Blue Heelers and East West 101 – will be the special guest at the South Burnett Relay For Life official launch next month.<\/p>\n

William is also the author of nine bestselling books, including Worse Things Happen At Sea, co-written with his late wife Sarah Watt, which won the 2012 Indie Non-Fiction Book of the Year award.<\/p>\n

Sarah – an award-winning film director in her right – died from breast cancer in 2011.<\/p>\n

The Mayor’s Community Breakfast, which\u00a0has become the traditional launching pad for the local Relay For Life Cancer Council of Queensland fundraising campaign, will be held on May 3 at Wondai RSL from 6:45am.<\/p>\n
