Boondooma slightly, but not enough to persuade the South Burnett Regional Council to ease current water restrictions.<\/p>\n<p>Water portfolio chair Cr Roz Frohloff told Wednesday&#8217;s council meeting inflows over the past month had increased Boondooma Dam&#8217;s capacity to 44 per cent, and BP Dam&#8217;s to 22 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These increases are not enough,&#8221; Cr Frohloff said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Because our main supply dams are quite low, water restrictions will have to remain at Level 3 across the South Burnett until these dams receive significant inflows.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Level 3 water restrictions were introduced last July.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They ban the use of sprinklers and prohibit hand-held hosing of paved or concreted areas.<\/p>\n<p>Hand held watering of gardens and lawns is permitted from 7:00am to 8:00am, and 5:00pm to 6:00pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for odd numbered houses and on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays for even numbered houses.<\/p>\n<p>No residential watering is permitted on Mondays.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recent rainfall has lifted the levels of BP Dam and
