A State Government small business grant program will help pay half the cost of upgrading digital systems up to the value of $10,000, subject to eligibility conditions<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

March 15, 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

The fourth round of the State Government’s Small Business Digital Grants Program, which is designed to increase the digital capabilities of small businesses, is now open.<\/p>\n

The program provides grants of between $1000 and $10,000 in matched funding to eligible businesses to enhance their digital capabilities.<\/p>\n

This might include projects such as website optimisation, building an online payments system or creating a social media plan.<\/p>\n

The State Government has allocated $6 million over three years to the program as part of its Advancing Small Business Queensland Strategy 2016-20, which aims to strengthen small business and help them meet the challenges of a changing economy.<\/p>\n

Applications for the fourth round will close at 5:00pm on Wednesday, April 11.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition to grants, the Office of Small Business\u2019 is also offering a Mentoring For Growth program.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This program offers eligible businesses free access to a panel of between 6-8 volunteer business experts who offer insights, options and suggestions on business challenges relating to growth and innovation.<\/p>\n

Business owners are matched with mentors who have expertise and experience with issues participants have identified as causing concern or difficulty.<\/p>\n
