Kingaroy Men’s Shed now has some of the latest computer equipment thanks to the very grateful son of one of the members.<\/p>\n

Mike Andrea, from Oper8 computer services in Brisbane, was very impressed with how the group had welcomed his recently widowed dad Bob into the group a year ago.<\/p>\n

When he heard they needed a computer, he was happy to help.<\/p>\n

The Kingaroy Men’s Shed held its Annual General Meeting last week, and president Eric Ford reflected on a busy year which included successful funding applications, the installation of two and three-phase power at the bottom half of the shed, a breakfast on top of Mt Wooroolin on Easter Sunday, and field trips to Woodgate, Murgon, Booie and Toowoomba.<\/p>\n

A large compressor was bought and installed on the eastern wall of the shed, with air lines throughout the building, and a skip bin installed for hard waste.<\/p>\n

Eric Ford was re-elected president at the AGM.<\/p>\n

Other executive members elected were vice-president Phil Day, secretary Thomas Johnson, treasurer Geoff Smallbone and committee members John Harrison and Phill Bowman.<\/p>\n
