A 12-month-old bull calf from the RSVP Droughtmasters Windera cattle stud was sashed Grand Champion Exhibit at the 33rd annual Droughtmaster Futurity Show held at Gatton Showgrounds on Saturday.<\/p>\n

‘RSVP Nevada’ will now be heading to Rockhampton to compete in Beef 2018 (May 6-12); it was also awarded Champion Bull Calf.<\/p>\n

It is the third time the Windera stud has taken out the Grand Champion ribbon at the Futurity.<\/p>\n

This year’s event was judged by Mac and Gayle Shann, from ‘Cantaur Park’ at Clermont, who were kept busy with 163 entries.<\/p>\n

Droughtmaster Australia CEO Neil Donaldson said that despite the hot and humid conditions on the day, the atmosphere at the Futurity was fantastic with a record crowd of spectators.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
