South Burnett freelance photographer Denise Keelan has put together a special publication to record the devastating Swickers fire in 2016, and the phoenix-like recovery on the site.<\/p>\n

Denise was travelling to another photographic job when she spotted the smoke starting to rise from the building.<\/p>\n

She actually made it to the site just before the firefighters …<\/p>\n

Denise took many photos in Kingaroy that Sunday morning, and then decided to record the construction process through to January this year.<\/p>\n

The result is a 100-page photo book which documents an important piece of South Burnett history.<\/p>\n

There are photos taken from the ground, as well as drone photos taken during the demolition and construction.<\/p>\n
