The Queensland Farmers\u2019 Federation is encouraging farmers to book a ticket for next week\u2019s Food Leaders Australia (FLA) Intensive Ag conference in Dalby.<\/p>\n

The two-day conference,\u00a0organised by FLA and economic development group\u00a0TSBE, will bring together farmers and representatives from the beef, pork and poultry industries to explore a range of topics, including the social licence to operate, waste management, planning, government services and facility construction.<\/p>\n

QFF President Stuart Armitage encouraged farmers to attend to hear from a wide range of speakers and to have their say about the future of intensive animal industries.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs the peak advocacy body representing the state\u2019s chicken meat, pork and egg industries, QFF is proud to be a conference partner and commend FLA for pulling the event together,\u201d Mr Armitage said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe conference will give the State\u2019s intensive animal industries the opportunity to come together to discuss and tackle common problems.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis event is a must-attend for intensive animal farmers, finance advisors, operators, input suppliers, governments and exporters.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe intensive animal industries are big employers and drivers of regional economies, and with the global demand for protein continuing to increase, they have a bright future.”<\/p>\n

The Intensive Ag Conference will be held on February 28 and March 1 at the Dalby Showgrounds.<\/p>\n
