The South Burnett Regional Council will begin upgrading a section of Murphy’s Road at Crawford soon<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

February 16. 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

Roadworks are scheduled to begin on Monday to upgrade a 400 metre stretch of Murphy’s Road at Crawford.<\/p>\n

This project is being undertaken by the South Burnett Regional Council to reduce ongoing maintenance and improve safety.<\/p>\n

The existing gravel road will be upgraded to a two- lane bitumen sealed road with work including excavation, drainage, gravel pavement, bitumen sealing, line marking and signage.<\/p>\n

The work is expected to be completed by April, weather permitting.<\/p>\n

During construction, traffic will be controlled by Traffic Controllers or Traffic Lights with some minor delays anticipated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
